18th November, 20:04—
a Tuesday folded in silence,
until a single “Hii” slipped from my hands
like a pebble tossed into a still lake.
But instead of sinking,
its ripples returned to me—
bright, unexpected,
as if unfamiliar voices carried
a kindness rehearsed long before I arrived.
I entered their circle cautiously,
a name without a story,
a presence wrapped in soft mystery.
Yet the air around me shifted—
questions drifting like fireflies,
curiosity brushing past my guard
without ever breaking it.
I answered lightly,
letting only the edges of my truth show,
the rest protected behind quiet laughter.
But somewhere between the rhythm of their warmth
and the ease of shared breath across a call,
a small door in me opened—
just enough to let his silhouette in.
I spoke of him in fragments,
and later he stepped into their world too,
and their welcome rose like dawn—
soft, amused, naming him in ways
that made the room glow fuller than before.
And when the night settled,
I realised something wordless had formed—
a space where my voice lingered comfortably,
and my silence was understood without question.
Not a server, not a stop in transit,
but a gentle corner of the vast digital world
that held my “Hii” carefully,
turned it into belonging,
and stitched a new warmth
into an otherwise ordinary Tuesday.
